I went out for the second time this evening pulling the new home. It is different pulling something behind a motorcycle. The turns are different, the hills are different and of course stopping is different. I just have to take my time... no rush pulling our new home... no need to rush really.. where would I go in a hurry?
I have also been sleeping in the new home. Randall (my cat) can't come in until I get the tent that connects so he has a place to go. So Poco and Nube keep him company at night in the shack while I sleep in the trailer. It is nice to have a break but I love to snuggle with them at night. The tent should be coming this week so we can try that out over the weekend.
One thing I need to figure out is where to put my shoes. Yesterday it was raining and I was in the trailer but had no where to put my dirty wet shoes. I just put them in a plastic bad and set them on top of the tire. There has got to be a better solution. Once I get my tent they could go in there but I need to find a place to put them that keeps them dry and safe when I just use the trailer. Something to think about.
Anyway here is a picture of Blue and our new home at the grocery store. I need to find a name for my new home.
I was kind of bummed today and not sure why but I had a big smile on my face after getting home from our short test drive. I am the luckiest. Next I think will be the highway.
