So I thought I would get a hair cut. I was pretty excited because the beauty school here in Santa Fe has $4 haircuts on Tuesday. Something I could afford. haha Really how could they mess it up... right??
Well... it was as if I was sitting on a slope. The girl working on my hair cut it completely crooked... about 1/2 an inch longer on one side than the other. What was really frustrating is a teacher never once walked by to check her work. I told her I wanted the length of the hair to not go past my hair line from my ears to the back of my head... so she shaved this little bitty area around the back of my head. So odd.
As soon as I got home I took out the scissors and started trying to make it at least a little more even. It looks a bit better but I am fighting the urge to shave it off and start again. I'm a little vain with the hair. I shaved my head so I wouldn't have to deal with crappy hair cuts. I think I will be done for a while of paying to get my hair cut.
I think of this time in college my best friend said she could cut my hair. So I let her. It was also quite crooked so the RA said she could fix it... crooked but the opposite way. Luckily there was a girl in the dorms who was actually trained in cutting hair and she fixed it.
I am going to try again to just let it be. :)

Another Beautiful Day
Having a relaxing time here in New Mexico. Been trying to find work out here but it isn't turning out just yet. Owell... I guess that is life at the moment. Going to not stress and let life happen.
Here are a few pictures from the walk Kai and I had the other day. I left my boys at home because it was a bit cold. Have I mentioned I love all the clear skies and sun? ;)

Lazy day
All my animal friends and I had a nice lazy day yesterday. We went for a nice walk and lazed around watching TV and reading the rest of the day. Everyone needs days like this. Here are some pictures from the day.

First day of 2014
I had a nice relaxing first day of 2014. I got to watch the Huskers win... I am a horrible fan because I didn't even know they made a bowl game. I was a bit out of the loop while working at Amazon.
I karaoke a bit for something to do.
Then I spent the afternoon outside with all the boys. Had a nice little walk and watched the sunset. One of my favorite things to do here in New Mexico. Here are some pictures for the day.
Blue and Tictac enjoying the sunset.

Kai is such a great doggie model.
Beautiful sunset. I sure missed the sun while in Kentucky. Can't get enough of the sun here in New Mexico.

Happy New Year
Sorry I have been a post slacker. Finished up my time with Amazon.com on the 19th of December. I was exhausted but met some really great people. Spent Christmas at my parents house with my 2 new besties I met at Amazon. We had a good time playing games and eating. ;)
Now I am in New Mexico house sitting with my buddies Kai and Kitty. Had a 3 day cold but sunny ride from Kentucky to New Mexico. It was actually uneventful... which is a good thing since I was still getting over the exhaustion of Amazon. I was really excited I didin't have to stop at a Harley shop along the way. Blue must be getting use to our adventures.
Watched the last sunset of 2013. I love the sun here in New Mexico. So bright and warm. It can be 40 degrees outside and it feels fabulous.
Had a relaxing New Year's Eve with a warm fire and watching tv.

Tomorrow I have to really start looking for a job for the spring. Going back to Virginia City Montana for the summer and Amazon next fall.
Thankful to finally be warm and dry. Kentucky was quite cold this year and extremely wet. Everything I owned was wet. Going to enjoy being spoiled for the next 6 weeks.
I am very thankful for the family I have made on the road. Love them all. What a Great 2013. Can't wait to see what 2014 brings.
